аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê is located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the L’nu’k. We are all Treaty People. The Peace and Friendship treaties did not involve the surrender of land and it is our social responsibility to understand and respect the treaty, the people, their way of life, and the Elders.

This Schulich School of Law initiative works to increase representation of Indigenous Blacks and Mi'kmaq in the legal profession to reduce discrimination.

Transition Year Program (TYP)

The TYP began in 1970 with a mandate to increase the access and the successful participation of Aboriginal and Black students at аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê.
